After going to bed at 3 and waking up at 8, I would have to say that we were all a little tired. Regardless, by 10 we were out of the house, and onto Black Friday shopping (although we didn't really know what we needed...) Niyati and Sapna aunty stayed over so we were all able to leave together. After long, grueling hours of walking around the mall, standing in line and trying to fish out the perfect deals, we only reached back home by around 7 (we left at 10 -_-) Exhausted, it was all I could do not to crash as soon as we got home. Unfortunately, the headache that I had just became worse as time went on, and before I went to sleep, I had a 100 degree fever. By morning it had inched up to 102. I was not in the best of spirits. My plans for the last weekend before we had to go back to school were not starting right..

I had the sweetest Sweet 16 a girl could ask for. Spent with great people, great food and great laughs. I couldn't have asked for anything better. Thank you to everyone who made this day exactly how it was. What I wonder, is why it's called sweet sixteen? Why can't every birthday be sweet? ;) On November 27 of 2013, I decided to start a blog. It was just done as a way to keep track of what was going on in my life. In all honestly, I did not think I would go through with my promise and still have it up. Yet -- 365 days later -- this blog still exists and I hope it will stay up for many years to come.
I haven't posted in quite a while, I know, I know. The only cause of that is the fact that nothing all that interesting has happened in the last few weeks, sorry for my boring life.
Although I would have to say today turned out to be quite a nice day. I went over to Vaishu's house for a dance practice, and the 5 kids (Vaishu, Yasmina, Sahil, Suraj and I) all decided to have lunch at the nearby plaza. After the meal, we made our way back to her house to start (finally) on our ISA piece. After long hours, we got the song about half way done, although we still have quite a lot of work to do. Lets just cross our fingers and hope for the best. |
