When I thought about writing this blog post a week ago, I assumed I would write about my RAS experience -- the swag, the hospitality, the people, the stage. Now, I can't imagine writing about anything but my team. Being on the RAS stage and knowing it was our last dance as a group, the emotions, hard work, and adrenaline allowed us to have the one of the best performances we have ever had. I am so lucky to have had Komal and Vik as my captains for the last two years. Choreo wise, I think our routine might have been one of the hardest this year, and I think the two of them might have actually changed the circuit with their creation. Never have I seen two people work so hard for one end goal, and they managed to instill that passion within the other 14 dancers. You both inspire me every day. I am so proud to call myself a member of GatoRaas. I am so proud to share a stage with dancers who are genuine and caring and passionate. I am so proud to have captains who want us to truly love what we do, and to dance only for ourselves and our team, rather than a trophy. I love how we always try to make friends in the circuit and scream other teams chants more than our own. I love how loud and obnoxious we are during the weekend, not taking anything too seriously and always having a good time. I love the night-before-the-comp talks (and I think I am finally out of tears). I couldn't imagine being on any other team. I love you all. GatoRaas, BO BO BO.
